The Architecture of Quiet Things

Solo Exhibition by Anina Opening 3 September 2026 till 3 October 2026 Some of life's greatest wonders exist beyond what we can immediately see. For years, Anina Deetlefs painted flowers as symbols of beauty and resilience. While exploring their microscopic structures, she discovered intricate cellular worlds that inspired an entirely new body of work.

Kobus Walker

Kobus Walker is a Pretoria-based artist, born in Rustenburg in 1971. He studied Fine Arts at Pretoria Technikon, graduating in 1992, and went on to collaborate with mentor Tivan van Dyk for nearly a decade on large-scale mural projects in London, Egypt, and South Africa—developing a strong command of scale and technique.

Meet the Artist: David Griessel

David Griessel’s work balances whimsy with introspection, using the language of picture book illustration to explore deeply personal and often somber themes. Existing between text and image, his drawings occupy a space of in-betweenness - never fully settled, always searching.

Valeria’s abstract works explore memory, identity, and transformation - with symbols and subtle colour palettes that whisper rather than shout. Each artwork is a slow, meditative process of layering and intuition, resulting in tactile pieces that speak to the soul.

‘The Ocean Between Us Is One’ is an ode to reconnection.

Through the archetypal figure of Sirena, a primordial guardian of the sea, the works trace humanity’s shared lineage with the living ocean. Each sculpture is a chapter in her story - from the Whale’s gravity, to the Ray’s dance, to the Wave’s renewal.
