Dirk Durnez & Katlijn Pynket
Dirk Durnez and Katlijn Pynket founded Art@Africa with a shared belief in the extraordinary potential of South African contemporary art. Drawing on decades of international creative and business experience, they have built a platform that connects established and emerging South African artists with collectors from around the world.
Their vision extends beyond exhibiting art. Through Art@Africa and the collaborative sculpture initiative Kunye Colab, Dirk and Kat actively invest in artistic development, experimentation and production, creating opportunities for artists to grow their practice and reach an international audience.
At the heart of their approach is a simple philosophy: recognise talent, nurture potential and create meaningful connections through art.
