Born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, 1956 National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Fine Arts - 1979 (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) He has worked in the Sculpture Department of the SANDF for a period of six years. Thereafter he was employed by the University of Pretoria, first as a Technical assistant and later became a lecturer in the Fine Arts (Sculpture) Department as well as a lecturer at Tshwane University of Technology’s Entertainment Technology (Props Department).
